Individual Appointments

Meet with a certified Stress Management and Resiliency Healthcare Practitioner weekly for up to 8 sessions. The meetings are curriculum based but are tailored to suit your personal goals. One-on-one appointments are 1.5 hours per week. 

Group Appointments

Group appointments are 2 hour weekly sessions that include the Stress Management and Resiliency Training curriculum but also allow for group process and social support. Groups are organized by age: Young Adult age 17-24 and Adult age 25 and up. Group size ranges from 10-20. 

Speaker Services

Guest speaker services are available for wellness classes in academic, business and healthcare settings.

Workshops

Stress is a physiological response in the body to an emotional or physical threat that your body believes you do not have the resources to handle. The focus of a Mind-Body workshop is to fully understand the stress response, develop awareness for stress warning signals, learn several meditation strategies by eliciting the Relaxation Response and to develop an appreciation for the connection between mood, negative automatic thoughts and behavior. Workshops typically run between 2-3 hours.

Participants will:

  • Understand basic science related to the Stress Response

  • Identify their own Stress Warning Signals

  • Learn to elicit the Relaxation Response with a variety of meditation techniques

  • Develop a level of competency to integrate Mind-Body skills into daily life or clinical practice
